Reservations: An advance deposit equal to your first nights stay, plus a Tuolumne County room tax of 8% will be charged at the time of booking. Additional nights will be billed when you arrive. If you cancel a reservation within the time frame noted below, we will give you a credit back to the same credit card, less the cancellation fee.
Cancellations: We understand that sometimes your travel plans will change. To avoid possible room charges, please let us know prior to 3 days (72 hours) of your arrival date if you need to make any changes. If you must cancel with a shorter notice than 72 hours, we will make every attempt to rebook your room; however, if we are unable to, you will be responsible for paying for that night. There is a $15.00 processing fee for all room cancellations. If you have rented the whole lodge and need to cancel 30 days or more prior to your arrival date, the fee is 10% of the first night, if canceled after the 30 days cutoff prior to you visit, the fee is 20% of the first night, and if cancelling 72 hours or less, the full price of the first night will be charged.
Check in/Check out Times: We ask that guests check in between 4:00pm and 9:00pm. If you will be later, please let us know so that we can make arrangements to provide you with after hours access. Check out time is 11:00am. We often use the afternoons to run errands and may not be available before 4:00pm. If we are here we will gladly check you in early.
Occupancy: Room rates are based on double occupancy unless noted otherwise. Additional guests sharing the same room will be $20.00 more per night. Rental of the whole lodge requires a 2-night minimum and 3 nights on holiday weekends. Extra beds are available.
Room Selection: We make every effort to keep you in the room you have chosen, however there are times when we do have to move folks around. If this happens, you will get a room equal in size, price, and amenities, and may even be upgraded at no additional charge.
Smoking: Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the house. An additional cleaning fee of $100.00 will be incurred if this policy is not respected. If you need to smoke please go outside at least 100’ away from any doors and windows, as some people can be more sensitive to the smell than others.
Children: If you are visiting with infants or young children, we have a high chair and crib available. We have a safety gate to the downstairs in place. Please let us know in advance if you require the use of these items so we can make sure they are available for you. There is no charge for the use of this equipment.
Pets: We expect, on occasion, you may want to bring your dog on vacation with you. We appreciate your discussing this with us ahead of time. The lodge owner, Bill Charlson, has a certified service dog trained for hearing loss. He will be around to help alert Bill to doorbells, telephones, alarm clocks, etc. If Bill is around, so will Jordy, his dog. There is a $20.00 fee per pet. If you have a disability and have a Service dog there is no charge for the dog.
Disabled Access: The main floor of Lillaskog Lodge is in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities act. The carport, main floor and veranda are on the same level. If you are disabled, please let us know so we can give you either the Bridalveil or Half Dome rooms, which have either a large tub or ADA accessible shower. If you are self-booking online, please be sure to request one of these two rooms.
Kitchen: Lillaskog has a large, well-equipped kitchen for your use whether you are renting just a room or the entire cabin. We ask that you please be considerate of other guests when using the kitchen. You may want to label your food in the refrigerator. Please be responsible in cleaning up after yourself.
Cell phones: There is very limited cell phone reception in Groveland and Yosemite. We recommend that you purchase a calling card before visiting the area. Guests using a calling card, making toll free or local calls are welcome to use, free of charge, phones that are available in the kitchen, family room or loft library.
Lost & Found: We know that you would not leave items behind on purpose, but know from our own traveling experience that it does happen. If you have lost something somewhere along your trip, give us a call and if it is in our lost and found box we will gladly mailit back to you for the cost of postage and a $10.00 handling fee.
